These Juicy Twisties are simply mouth watering. This recipe is a good one for when you have to take a plate of sweet treats to an event. They are sweet and juicy and enjoyed by the guests. From the first crunchy bite the sweet syrup liquid just oozes from the Juicy Twistie. They are so yum that one is just not enough and can be kept in the fridge for a good few days. This dish could also be lovely for when you are having a nice warm cup of coffee or tea.

This recipe was handed down to me by my great Aunt. I recall making it many many years ago, but as with a lot of other things it disappeared between the cracks. After going through one of my old handwritten recipe books this one jumped out at me as a fantastic blast from the past.
You wouldn’t normally consider carrots and pudding in the same sentence, but this rediscovered recipe shows that in the old days anything could be turned into the most delicious dessert.
To eat this dessert you scoop a generous helping onto a plate or bowl, then you smother it with the lusciously decadent sauce. Yum.

This creamy orange sago pudding was one of my Mother’s favorite recipes. It has a beautifully creamy orange flavour which is not only delicious, but also brings back great childhood memories for me. This pudding tastes fantastic hot or cold.
