Pasta & Green Bean
A very tasty dish filled with crunchy walnuts, beans and pasta. It is quick to prepare and very nutritious.

Servings 4 people
- 1 cup Walnuts
- 1 tbls Margarine
- 6-8 stems Spring Onions
- 1 bunch Parsley
- 2 cloves Garlic chopped
- 1/2 cup Vegetable Stock
- 1/2 cup Soya Cream
- 2 cups Pasta
- 1 cup Green Beans trimmed & halved
Roast the walnuts in a frying pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring all the time.
Set aside to cool.
Melt margarine in a saucepan add the spring onions, garlic and parsley, cook for 2 minutes.
Add stock and cook over medium heat for 7 minutes.
Stir in Soya Cream, cook for 5 minutes.
Taste for seasoning.
Bring a large pan of water to the boil add salt.
Drop in the pasta and cook according to packet instructions.
