Rice and Chicken Bake Recipe

A delicious mid week meal for the whole family. Use your leftover rice and chicken from your Sunday lunch. The whole family will love this dish.

  • 2 cups Rice cooked
  • 1 cup Chicken cooked
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Melted Butter
  • 2 Eggs hard boiled
  • 1 cup Cheese grated
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Parsley


  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Mix the rice, chicken, cheese, chopped eggs, chopped parsley and melted margarine.
  • Beat 1 egg add to the milk.
  • Put rice mixture into a oven proof dish. 
  • Pour milk over.
  • Sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Bake for one hour until set. 
  • Serve with vegetables or a salad.
