Chicken Cordon Bleu Recipe

This is a very tasty midweek meal that does not take long to prepare. Serve it with a salad or mixed vegetables. The tomatoes keeps it nice and moist.

Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken Breast
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste
  • 1 tsp Chicken Spice
  • 1 Tomato sliced
  • 1/2 cup Cheese grated

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 190°C.
  • Cut chicken breasts in half, length wise.
  • Flatten them slightly with a mallet.
  • Season to taste.
  • Put some cheese on one half of each breast and then a slice of tomato. 
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Fold chicken breast in half.
  • Secure with a toothpick.
  • Put a slice of tomato on top of each breast.
  • Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • Bake uncovered for about 40 minutes or until done. 
  • Remove toothpick .
  • Serve hot.
