Instructions

  1. Boil 3/4 cup water in a small saucepan.
  2. Stir in 1 packet strawberry jelly powder until fully dissolved.
  3. Add the remaining cold water to make up a total of 2 3/4 cups water, then mix well.
  4. Set aside to cool until just before the jelly begins to set.
  5. Stir in 1 tin condensed milk until smooth.
  6. Drain 1 tin (420g) fruit salad and add it to the jelly mixture.
  7. Stir gently until well combined.
  8. Divide the mixture between 4 small pudding dishes.
  9. Chill overnight or until fully set.
  10. Decorate with whipped cream just before serving.

Hints & Tips

  • Cool before adding milk – Let the jelly cool slightly before adding condensed milk to prevent curdling.
  • Drain fruit well – Excess liquid can prevent the pudding from setting properly.
  • Flavour variations – Try different jelly flavours like peach, raspberry, or orange for a twist.
  • Make ahead – This dessert is perfect for preparing the night before serving.
  • Add fresh fruit – For extra texture, mix in fresh berries or sliced bananas before chilling.
