Chicken and Broccoli Bake Recipe

Tender chicken, fresh broccoli, and a creamy mushroom sauce topped with golden, cheesy breadcrumbs — this Chicken and Broccoli Bake is the ultimate cosy, family-friendly dinner.

3 cups Chicken cooked
2 cups Broccoli
1 can Mushroom Soup
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1 tsp Lemon Juice
1 cup Cheese grated
1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
2 tbsp Margarine

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  2. Cut 3 cups cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Blanch 2 cups broccoli in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain well.
  4. In a bowl, mix 1 can mushroom soup, 1/2 cup mayonnaise, and 1 tsp lemon juice until combined.
  5. Layer the chicken and broccoli in an ovenproof dish.
  6. Pour the mushroom sauce evenly over the top.
  7. Sprinkle 1 cup grated cheese and 1/2 cup breadcrumbs over the sauce.
  8. Dot the top with 2 tbsp margarine.
  9. Bake for 35 minutes, or until the top is golden and the bake is heated through.
  10. Serve hot with rice or green peas.
