Chicken and Broccoli Bake Recipe
This is a nice way to use up all the left over chicken. It is nice and juicy. The broccoli gives it color and makes it more nutritious.
Servings: 4 people
Ingredients
- 3 cups Chicken cooked
- 2 cups Broccoli
- 1 can Mushroom Soup
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1 cup Cheese grated
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp Margarine
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C
- Cut the chicken into bite size pieces.
- Blanch the broccoli for 5 minutes.
- Mix the soup, mayonnaise and lemon juice.
- Layer chicken and broccoli in a ovenproof dish.
- Pour the mushroom sauce over.
- Sprinkle cheese and breadcrumbs over the meat and dot with margarine.
- Bake for 35 minutes.
- Serve with rice or green peas.
