This cheesy broccoli casserole is a comforting side dish for any occasion. The bacon, leek and cheese gives it lost of flavor.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup Broccoli
- 1 Leek
- 4 rashers Bacon streaky
- 1 cup Cheese grated
- 2 tbsp Oil
Cheese Sauce
- 3 tbsp Margarine
- 1 1/4 cup Milk
- 3 tbsp Flour
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cut broccoli into smaller pieces.
- Boil for 2 minutes.
- Put into a casserole dish.
- Slice leek and dice bacon.
- Fry in 2 tablespoons cooking oil.
- Sprinkle over broccoli.
Cheese Sauce
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Melt margarine over low heat.
- Stir flour, salt and pepper into margarine.
- Add milk bit by bit stirring all the time until smooth.
- Boil for 2 minutes.
- Add ½ cup cheese and stir until melted.
- Pour sauce over broccoli.
- Sprinkle rest of cheese over the top.
- Bake 25 minutes or until light brown on top.
