
Cheese and Parsley Bread Recipe

This is such a quick and easy cheese and parsley bread. You can make it in no time flat. The texture is very light almost like a cake and it is simply delicious.
- 2 cups Self-Raising Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1 cup Cheese (grated)
- 2 tsp Parsley (chopped)
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 tbsp Water
- 1 Egg
- 3 tsp Mayonnaise
- 2 tsp Mustard
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Sift the flour and salt together.
Rub in the margarine till it resembles breadcrumbs.
Add the grated cheese and the parsley.
Beat milk, water, egg, mustard and mayonnaise together.
Add to the flour mixture.
Mix well.
Put the dough into a prepared 21 x 11 x 6.5 cm loaf tin.
Level the top.
You can sprinkle some cheese on top if you wish.
Bake for 30-35 minutes.
