2 cups Cake Flour
1 tbsp Baking Powder
1 1/2 cups Cheese grated
1 tbsp Parsley
1 1/2 cups Milk
3 tbsp Margarine
1 tsp Marmite
Salt to Taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C.
- Sift 2 cups cake flour, 1 tbsp baking powder, and salt to taste into a mixing bowl.
- Add 1 1/2 cups grated cheese and 1 tbsp parsley, mixing lightly to combine.
- Pour in 1 1/2 cups milk and stir until just combined — do not overmix.
- Spoon the mixture evenly into 12 greased or lined muffin cups.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until the tops start to brown and a skewer inserted comes out clean.
- While the muffins bake, melt 3 tbsp margarine with 1 tsp Marmite in the microwave until smooth. Stir well.
- As soon as the muffins come out of the oven, spoon the warm Marmite mixture over the tops.
- Serve warm for the best flavour and texture.

- Don’t overmix – Overmixing will make the muffins dense instead of light and fluffy.
- Adjust Marmite strength – If you prefer a milder flavour, reduce the Marmite to 1/2 tsp.
