Here is a quick Buttermilk and onions bread. No need to chop onions, simply use a packet of white onion soup mix. The cheese and butter milk gives it a delicious taste. Fantastic for your next picnic or barbeque.

Ingredients

Self-Raising Flour

packet
White Onion Soup
1
Egg
1
cup
Cheese
grated
2
cups
Buttermilk
Pinch of Salt
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Sift the flour and salt.
Add grated cheese.
Beat egg into buttermilk and add to flour.
Mix well.
Add a little more buttermilk if necessary.
Put into a greased loaf tin.
Bake for 1 hour.
