Bacon and Egg Tart Recipe

Try this delicious Bacon and Egg Tart for breakfast or with a salad for a light lunch. Cold meat can be used instead of bacon. Also try different flavor chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkt Salted Chips
  • 1 cup Bacon
  • 1 cup Cheese
  • 2 Spring Onions
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 tbsp Parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180°C.
  • Fry the bacon and spring onions in 1 tablespoon cooking oil.
  • Crush the chips in the packet. 
  • Sprinkle at the bottom of a pie dish.
  • Sprinkle bacon, spring onions and cheese over the chips. 
  • Beat four eggs, 1 ¾ cup milk, parsley, salt and pepper together. 
  • Pour over the bacon.
  • Sprinkle with some more cheese it you like. 
  • Bake for 30 minutes or till set.
  • Serve warm with a salad.
