Orange Cake Recipe
The fresh orange juice gives this cake a lovely flavor. Serve it with cream. It will be a winner at your next tea party.

- 3 Eggs
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 1/2 cups Flour
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 3/4 cup Milk
- 3 tbls Butter
Syrup
- 1/2 cup Boiling Water
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Orange Juice
- 1 1/2 tsp Orange Rind grated
- 1 tbls Butter
Preheat oven to 180ÂșC.
Beat sugar and eggs together.
Sift dry ingredients and add to sugar mixture.
Heat milk and butter add to flour mixture.
Mix well.
Pour into a pie dish.
Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Syrup
Mix all the ingredients in a sauce pan.
Boil for 5 minutes, pour over tart as soon as it comes out of the oven.
